Open Mic night is back this Saturday, 20th November at it’s new venue, The Hive in the Margaret River LIA. Come and share a great night supporting some of the south wests emerging muso’s from 6.30pm. Tickets are $10 at the door and spots fill up quickly.

Local artist Janne Daddo is exhibiting her latest collection of joyful paintings at JahRoc Galleries from now until 4th December. Titled ‘Moments with You’, the exhibition explores the true essence of the iconic Margaret River lifestyle and there’s a story to explore in every piece. Jahroc is open from 10am every day.

Swings and Roundabouts is celebrating the release of their delicious new Rose with a night of spectacular wine, food & entertainment this Friday, 19th November. And, The Quill in Vasse is celebrating the 1969 summer of love, peace and freedom with their own Woodstock inspired event this Saturday, 20th November. Bring a rug and enjoy five incredible artists, market stalls and some great food. It all kicks off at 2.30 and tickets are $36.

And, coming up next Wednesday, the 24th, Arts Margret River presents a free touring program titled Under the Same Sky. The tour includes three key elements: bird making workshops, dance workshops and a public screening of Archives of Humanity, a film with a cast of 21 dancers plus a remarkable set of over 1500 fabric birds hand-made the WA community using their own recycled clothing. Tickets to entire program are free, however bookings are essential and details are on our website.
