The Tribute Tree

Throughout the afternoon of Saturday 13 June local marine scientist Drew McKenzie is hosting a free workshop on marine life for children aged 5 – 11, at Ferart Studio on Wilderness Rd, Margaret River.

And the best part is that it’s not just sitting and listening – it’s a craft based session encouraging kids to get involved with our south west coastlines by creating stunning sea creatures using found objects and their imagination.
There isn’t a set time, just pop in during the afternoon to join in the fun.

Experienced grief counsellor Laurissa Knowles will be hosting a free Grief workshop at St Thomas Moore School on Thursday 10th of June at St Thomas More School. She will tackle sensitive issues including how to talk about death and suicide with our children and teenagers, and how to guide them through grief.
