Camping and Leisure Show
The Margaret River Camping and Leisure Show is coming up fast and it’s raising funds for our amazing River Angels.
They need your help!
Date: Saturday March 27th
Lynda says:
“Can you help with organising all the prizes we have and generally help with the way things will be set up and displayed?
If anyone is able to meet me at our storage shed on Mon or Tues, please get in touch.
We will also be looking for vollies to help out on the day selling tix and manning our stalls.
Setup will be on Saturday morning at 7.30 and it would be great to have some help. Setting up gazebos, tables, chairs, prizes etc.
We are also calling for donations of camping and outdoor gear for our Trash ’n’ Treasure stall at the Margaret River Camping and Leisure Show on March 27.
We need GOOD QUALITY saleable items (nothing broken, damaged or worn-out please) to make the most of our fund-raising efforts.
Do you have any of the following gathering dust?
- Tents
- Fishing gear
- Lighting
- Eskys
- Storage boxes
- Camp stretchers
- Cooking gear
- Picnic gear
- Coffee plunger
- Camp furniture
- Fire tools
- Sleeping bags
- Porta potty
- Car and Caravan accessories
- Other?
Its a lot to ask but I am hoping the generous spirit of our community will show itself as always.”

Greatest Shave
This Friday 26th March will see both Tom and Mouna Prince – owners of the Cowaramup Community Club – take part in The Annual Greatest Shave. Mouna’s long locks will be gone – Tom’s even getting his legs waxed as well as losing his hair and beard.
Together they’ll celebrate the life of Tom’s Father who sadly passed away earlier this year from Leukaemia.
In keeping with Cowaramup Community spirit, the couple will involve everyone with an amazing raffle and live music from the Fagan Brothers. There’ll be wine tastings too from the Montague Estate. All monies raised to The Leukaemia Foundation.
Come on down to the Club from 5.30 onwards for a great night out for a great cause.
