Help the Lions

The Margaret River Lions sales are booming and they are looking for helpers. If you have a few hours to spare on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning, pop into the shed to give them a hand.

And if you want to be a member of the Lions please let them know – you’ll have a chance to vote on how the money raised at the shed is invested in the local community.

River Angels raffle

The River Angels are looking for donations for their International Women’s day raffle on Monday 8th March. If you have anything please let Lynda know.

They are also in need of some volunteers for their stand at the Margaret River Camping and Leisure Show on Saturday March 27th. If you’re available please contact Lynda.

Soupie is open

The Soupie at the Community Centre is open on Monday and Wednesday from 5pm for takeaway only – still no dining in due to COVID.

Free Financial Couselling

Anglicare WA Financial Counselling Service is starting a free fortnightly outreach program in Margaret River. They are professional counsellors who specialise in budgeting and debt negotiation, so give them a call to make an appointment. They will be at the Community Centre every other week.
