Cry of the Forests Movie

Nannas for Native Forests will be hosting the movie premiere “Cry of the Forests” on Wednesday Nov 4 at the HEART.

There are two screenings, followed by an audience Q & A with the filmmaker and local characters who are in the film.

Community Fire Presentations

Nature Conservation Margaret River and the Augusta Margaret River Shire are hosting Community Fire Presentations on preparing your property and protecting the environment.

They will be held on Monday 9 November from 4 till 5.30 pm at the Margaret River Council Chambers and on Tuesday 10 November at Augusta Council Chambers.

Writing Workshops

The Library is hosting two free writing workshops with best selling US author Annabel Smith.

The events will be in the Margaret River Library on 5 November and Lesser Hall, adjacent to Augusta Library on 6 November.

Want to play cricket?

If you’re keen to be involved with the cricket this summer the Margaret River Hawks Cricket Club is always keen to welcome new members of all ages and abilities.

Senior training is 5pm Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Gloucester Park nets, immediately followed by junior training. Ladies training is Tuesdays. 

Social T20 competition starts next week with games on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
