GRACE UNDER PRESSURE
Grace Under Pressue, a unique theatre experience telling the hidden stories of health professionals in their own words. WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS
‘Still Life & Drawing Workshop’ facilitated by Caro Bannister is on at The Heart on Thursday 15th April from 10am to 12pm. She’ll teach kids scale, observation and perspective to hone their artistic skills. They’ll get to dabble with acrylics and bring some pieces home.

Over at the Zone Room, an Illustrative Skills Workshop on 13th April is designed for kids wanting to pursue a career in graphic design. Facilitated by local artsist Kaiman, it promises to get your creativity flowing with fun drawing activities and advice on how to turn your passion for art into a career. MEGAFAOUNC NIGHTSTALK
The ever popular MegaFauna Nightstalk at Mammoth Cave continues throughout the holidays every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6pm. This night time guided tour takes you deep into Mammoth Cave to learn about these supersized animals that used to roam the region. Check MargaretRiver.com for more details.
MOVIES AT THE HEART
The stellar line-up of kid friendly movies continues in the second part of the school holidays.
On Friday 9th April and Monday 12th April the highly acclaimed Australian drama Penguin Bloom is showing which tells the true story of a young mother whose world is turned upside down after a near fatal accident.
Then on Thursday 13th April it’s Raya and the Last Dragon, a fantasy world movie where humans and dragons live together in harmony. Showing at 2pm, all tickets are just $9.
The animated adventure movie, Boonie Bears: The Wild Life shows on 14th April at 2pm. All tickets are just $9 making it a family-friendly outing that won’t cost the earth.
Two by Two: Overboard is another animated fun film on Friday 9th and Monday 12th April.

YOUTH FESTIVALS
The SouthWest Youth Fest takes place in Busselton on Friday 9th April then in Dunsborough on Tuesday 13th April. The Busselton event offers an afternoon of circus activities while in Dunsborough there’s a skateboard comp, henna tattooes, dreamcatchers and facepaints. In Margaret River, the Youth Advisory Council Festival will light up the Margaret River Youth Precinct on Friday 16th April with music, art, entertainment and stalls for the whole family. From 3pm.
