In celebration of World Fishing Day, Bettenays is hosting a day of fish, wine and music this Sunday that’s fun for all the family. Their lake is fully stocked with rainbow trout so you can try your hand at fishing and take your catch home. Or sit back and listen to some live music with a delicious glass of wine and bites from Hooked up Fish and Chips. It all gets started from 11am.


Or, pop along to Cape Lodge this Saturday for a seafood cooking demonstration with local legendary chef Tony Howell. Working with local seasonal produce, it’s a fun and informative with lots of expert tips. Tickets are $95 and all the details are on our website.




Tickets are now on sale for Karnidale, the unique and inspirational Circus Festival that takes place each summer holidays and will be staged on 14th and 15th January 2022. Always a sell-out, you can camp on site or just pop in for a day of world class entertainment, market stalls, workshops and late night shows. Ticket details are on our website.




Still in the festival mood, the fresh new wine festival Fine Vines arrives on the 15th of October with 30 unique events over 10 days to celebrate our wonderful Margaret River Wine Region. Tickets for all events are now on sale and there’s something to suit everyone.

Next Tuesday, 12th October the Heart is screening the film Donut King, a rags to riches story of a refugee escaping Cambodia and building an unlikely empire baking Donuts. It’s a saga of ups and downs, sacrifice and success. Tickets are on sale now and just $15.




And, mark your diary for the 16th annual Art Auction, taking place at The Heart on Saturday 6th November. All the artworks will be on display in the Heart Foyer from 20th October so you can check out what you’d like to bid on. We’ll have more details on this exciting event in the coming weeks.
