The Margaret River Concert Band is playing a Mother’s Day Spectacular in Augusta on Sunday from 2.30pm with afternoon tea included. They’ll be playing well known music including swing, latin, pop and hits from all your favourite musicals.
Or, rock along with mum and Aussie music icons 1927 as they perform all their hits at The Heart this Friday, 7th May at 7.30pm.
Aravina Estate is also hosting live music on Saturday 8th May with local talent Ricky Green performing out on the lawn from midday.
Bettenay Wines and Rustico at Hayshed Hill are both hosting special brunch and lunch events on Mother’s Day with complimentary treats for all the mums. Places are limited so book your table soon.
Or, treat mum to a cooking class with local chef legend Tony Howell and his French Seafood Demonstration on Saturday 15th May at Cape Lodge. It’s a fun and informative day out with lots of delicious local produce to sample.

The Margaret River Reader’s & Writers Festival kicks off next week on Friday 14th May and tickets to some fantastic events are still available. The festival is brought to you by our What’s On sponsor, Arts Margaret River and is the biggest literary event in Western Australia. This year has a stellar line up of authors yet again so get your tickets now.
