It’s show time this weekend as the annual Margaret River Show rolls into town this Friday and Saturday. Gates open at 3pm on Friday and entry for kids is free. There’s sideshow alley, the much loved exhibition hall and fun for all the family. Don’t miss the fireworks on Friday night at 8pm.

Also this weekend, the annual Witchcliffe Vintage Fair is on once again on Saturday from 9am. This community based event celebrates everything retro, antique, vintage and funky. It’s a gold coin entry with part proceeds going to local charity River Angels.

ART

The 16th Annual Art Auction is finally here so now’s your chance to snap up an incredible original work from esteemed local artists and makers. Doors open at 6.00pm with live music, complimentary supper and a free glass of Margaret River wine on offer before the bidding begins at 7.00pm. Tickets to this wildly popular event are $25 with proceeds going to the Margaret River Independent School.

MARKET

The much anticipated Origins Market in Busselton opens its doors this week with a three day celebration beginning on Friday. The opening weekend will be packed with live music, face painting, children’s activities & appearances by former MasterChef contestant Samira Damirova.

Also up in Busselton, Shelter Brewery turns one this weekend and they’re hosting a Family Fun Day on Saturday from 10am with pony rides, bouncy castles and much more. Then from 6pm, rock party lords The Southern River Band take to the stage so you can hit the dance floor.
