At the Heart
Monday 1st February from 10.00am to 11.30 in the Foyer of the Heart is the next concert in the Young at Heart series. A medley of musicians and singers includes first time performer at the Heart, 12 year old Lily May Palmer. The Young at Heart concerts are free to people of all ages.
Next Monday, 1st February at 11.30 am at the Heart is another film based on an Australian novel – Jane Harper’s The Dry. A small town hides big secrets in this atmospheric mystery, as old wounds bleed into new ones.
Back by popular demand at the Heart is the film Dirt Music on Thursday 28th January at 7pm and again on Monday 8th February at 11.30am. The stunning landscape of Western Australia is the backdrop of this tale of love and grief in an adaptation of the acclaimed novel by Tim Winton.
On Thursday 28th at 1.30pm is a film for kids Maya the Bee number Three. When a bored Maya and Willy bust out of a winter lockdown they are catapulted headfirst into a top secret mission. Maya must learn that trust is not just a word, it must be earned.
Two Robert De Niro films at the Heart are sure to appeal. On Monday 29th January at 1.00pm is the War with Grandpa. Peter is thrilled when grandpa comes to stay but no so happy when he had to give up his room. So, a War with Grandpa follows.
Still at the Heart on Monday 29th January at 7.00pm is the Comeback Trail. Robert de Niro portrays a greedy grind-house film producer in a fun journey through the underbelly of Hollywood. Littered with a cast of outrageous characters the film will have you giggling from go to woah.
On Saturday 30th January at the Heart is a Tribute to the Hall of Fame legends, the Beach Boys and Gene Pitney. This two hour tribute show, starting at 7.00pm, is filled with memories of good times, young romance, long summers, great harmonies and, more important, GOOD VIBRATIONS.

Sunday Sundowners
On Sunday 7th February at 5.00 the Sunday Sundowners at Pioneer Park in Cowaramup will feature a stellar line-up of talented local musicians. There’ll be an 11 year old with talent above her years, followed by chilled cover songs and jazzy numbers. Then vocal harmonies and stories in song from a local sister duo.

Chris Hawker
At the Brewhouse in Margaret River on Friday 29th January from 4.30pm Chris Hawker Plays Live. Chris is a seasoned musician who uses his guitar, a looper and vocals to create a huge sound.

Summer Sundowners
On Friday 29th January from 4.30 to 8.30pm Fishbone Wines at Wilyabrup features their Summer Sundowners. Albert Gray’s music captures the magnetism of life on the road and the raw emotional works of Ryan Adams. Albert’s live show is mandatory.
