The 16th Annual Art Auction, a major fundraiser for the Independent School, is coming up on Saturday 6th November. All the artworks have now been hung in the Heart foyer so you can pop along and see what you’d like to bid on. The exhibition is open every day from 10am in the lead up to the auction.

DOGTOBER FEST

Dog lovers won’t want to miss Dogtober Fest this Saturday at the Brewhouse from 3pm. Get creative with a costume for your pampered pooch and join in the parade to win some fantastic prizes. Last year saw some pretty bold entries so get your creative juices flowing! Registrations are open on the day.

SPRING SHOW

The Augusta Centennial Hall will be full of spring blooms this weekend as the Augusta Garden Club hosts a traditional weekend village show with horticulture classes, arts and crafts, weaving, woodwork and a pet show. Entry is $5 and it’s on from 9am on Saturday and Sunday.

RIDE

The epic Cape to Cape Mountain Bike Tour hits Margaret River this weekend as well. Starting at Leeuwin Lighthouse in Augusta on Thursday, it finishes four days later up at Cape Naturaliste after winding through a network of trails and stunning scenery. There’s plenty of action to see as a spectator so check our website for more details.

FILM

The French Film Festival is screening this weekend at The Heart. Three contemporary French Films encompassing drama, romance and comedy. Tickets can be purchased on the Heart website.
