Weekend Markets

SATURDAY

As always, we have the Margaret River Farmers Markets on Saturday morning from 7:30 at the TAFE Campus on Bussell Hwy, as well as the Vasse Markets on Kaloorup Road from 8am until 12 noon.

SUNDAY

On Sunday, the Margaret River Town Square Markets start at 8am and are currently being held at Memorial Park on the corner of Willmott Ave & Townview Tce.

Skate Park Event

On Saturday the 21st of November, the Shire of Augusta Margaret River’s Youth Advisory Council invites young people to groove and skate for its Drug Aware MR SAMM 2020 event at the Margaret River Skate Park from 3pm to 7pm.

Author Visit – Dianne Wolfer

Award winning WA author Dianne Wolfer is coming to Margaret River to discuss using local history and personal experience to create fiction at the Margaret River Library from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Tuesday 24th November.

Wine & Food Events

CHENIN BLANC SYMPOSIUM

The 2020 International Chenin Blanc Symposium is being held at the Willyabrup Hall on Puzey Road on Saturday the 21st of November from 1pm to 4pm.

Blind taste 25 bottles of the world’s best Chenin Blanc, followed by a sausage sizzle.

SOUTHERN WEEKENDER

The West Australia Good Food Guide’s Southern Weekender is on from the 19th to the 22nd of November. Head to the Good Food Guide for more information and to book.

CAPE LODGE

Cape Lodge in Yallingup hosts Wine Lounge Launch & Seafood BBQ on the deck from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday the 21st of November. Celebrate the launch of the Wine Lounge in exciting new space.

ROSE ALL DAY

Rose All Day Courtyard Party is being held at The River from 1pm to 5pm. Join the crew from Heroes and Comrades and The River in the courtyard with wines from some of WA’s most dynamic vineyards, plus incredible canapes.

LONG LUNCH IN THE PADDOCK

Join Tiller Dining for their Long Lunch in the Paddock at Griffin Road, Dunsborough on Sunday the 22nd of November from 12:30pm to 4pm. Chef George Cooper has prepared a surprise menu to be announced on the day, paired with Pemberton’s Below & Above Wines.

Margaret River HEART

This week at the HEART, we start with Young @ HEART on Monday morning from 10am with music by Peter & Jo Mayo and Paul Barlow followed by a special screening of Cry Of The Forests at 11:30am.

The HEART Gallery sees two photographic exhibitions; David Dare Parker’s Film and Television Still Photographic Retrospective and Martine Perret’s exhibition of aerial photographs entitled Beyond Above Western Australia. Both of these exhibitions are available for viewing between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

Friday the 27th of November will see the Living Local Night Markets at the Margaret River Shell from 5:30pm. Featuring a wide range of food vendors covering all tastes, local musicians Banjo Lucia and Blackwood Morris will be performing as well. The HEART will have an encore screening of Rams at 7:30 in the main theatre.

For lovers of wildlife, Locals Caring For Local Wildlife will be holding a special event, Owl Friendly Margaret River, at the HEART Studio Theatre from 5:30pm with an art and book display followed by illustrated talks from a selection of local wildlife specialists from 6pm. Registrations are essential.

Spring Fling

Wills Domain, on the corner of Abbey Farm Road and Brash Road, Yallingup is having a Spring Fling on Saturday the 21st from 6pm to 11pm.

Dance the night away with three piece band Whiskey Dogs and DJs at this stand up event.
