Australian Baroque are bringing their world-class ensemble to Margaret River this Friday night for the Homegrown@HEART music program. It’s followed by a Masterclass on Saturday morning for students and budding musicians. Bring your instrument and a piece of baroque music for some expert guidance from these amazing artists. Tickets are free but reserve a spot by booking online.
This Saturday, another epic night of Ecstatic Dance is on at the Cowaramup Hall from 6.30. It’s packed with beats and grooves from all over the world to open your heart and let your dancing spirit run wild and free. Tickets are $30 and available online.
Don’t miss your chance to hear leading social researcher Hugh McKay discuss his ground-breaking book The Kindness Revolution next Thursday the 23rd. Also next Thursday is the screening of Godspeed, Los Polacos – an epic adventure film following the story of 5 Polish university students as they kayak some of the world’s deepest canyons in the Cold War era. It’s an against the odds film with never ending drama that’s well worth seeing.
And, entries are now open for the Margaret River Ultra Marathon scheduled for May, 2022. This incredible 80km race always sells out quickly so make sure you enter your team or secure a solo spot very soon.
