READERS AND WRITERS FESTIVAL
Tickets are selling fast to the Readers and Writers Festival on May 14th, some sessions have already sold out, so if you haven’t secured tickets to the great line up of events, get online now.
RMR will be there, broadcasting live from the foyer.
THEATRE
Tickets are still available to Grace Under Pressure, this is a unique theatre experience , described as wildly funny and utterly heartbreaking. It tells the hidden stories of health professionals in their own words. It’s on next Thursday April 22nd at the HEART.

Also coming up at the HEART soon is the Elvis tribute show: Elvis – If I can Dream.
Internationally acclaimed sensation Mark Anthony is one of the most dynamic Elvis tribute artists in the world today. He brings to life the songs, the costumes, the emotion and the energy, in a two hour concert spectacular.
We are also lucky enough to be hosting Comedian Ross Noble in Margaret River for one night only on May 11th at The HEART, tickets available from their website.

MOVIES
If movies are more your thing, this Friday night the HEART is screening Nomadland starring Frances McDormand as a modern day nomad exploring life outside conventional society.
ART
Also at the HEART until the end of this month is The Hive, Margaret River Art Collective. Group Show 2021 is their first exhibition as a collective.
The works on display include painting, photography, ceramics and mixed media art. All of these practices have been developing and evolving over recent months at the Hive, which is one of the newest creative spaces in Margaret River.
Local artist Felicity Palmeteer is also exhibiting at the HEART next week. Skin Deep Audio Visual and Visual Arts ,is a presentation that combines the artists two greatest passions, surfing and art. It runs from next Monday till May 17th.
Both these exhibitions are free events in the HEART foyer gallery.
Also free at the HEART is their Monday morning “Young At HEART” program.
This Monday the 19th our own RMR volunteer and Ian Smith will tinkle the ivories for local journo and singing sensation Nicky Lefebvre. This is a performance not to be missed.
It will be followed by another screening of Nomadland.
And finally if you’ve got a young one or you are one, don’t forget to head to the skatepark this Friday for the youth week festival. RMR will be there with our young crew. There’s live bands, a sausage sizzle and plenty to keep the family entertained. 3 till 6 this Friday.
