It’s a Quest

The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a world- wide voluntary, non-profit organisation aimed at encouraging older people to remain mentally, physically and socially active. U3A Margaret River has just celebrated its tenth anniversary, having been founded in March 2012.

To mark this milestone Bill Bunbury has produced ‘It’s A Quest’ , a 22 minute documentary in which he interviewed 19 past and present members of U3A Margaret River about their experiences in attending short educational courses and events on a wide variety of topics including literature, history, geology and music. Members, including Peter Lane, Jack Knudson and Claire Timmons, discuss their role as course leaders. Other interviewees talk about meeting new friends and sharing experiences through membership of U3A Margaret River.
