It’s a little quieter than usual around the region, however there’s plenty of great talent, and delicious food and wine on offer. Also, Saturday is the official start of Open Studios which will bring plenty of avid art lovers to the south-west.

 

Thursday 9th September

Sean and Cassandra are performing at Caves House Hotel from 6pm in the piano room.

It’s quiz night at Burger Baby with Mike and Grant. It’s heaps of fun, free to play and great prizes. Please note the questions start at 7pm sharp, you’ll need to book a table so you don’t miss out.

 

Friday 10th September

The Caves House Hotel presents its Friday night Jazz and Cocktails night with Paula Renee performing from 6.30pm.

The Brewhouse session starts from 4.30pm and Hannah Clare will entertain, and this is a family friendly venue.

Blue Shaddy are heading to The River for a rescheduled event from July 24th, so previous tickets are valid, and if you’re unable to attend email info@oztix.com.au for a refund. With support from local Lightnin Jack it will be a blues rocking night. Doors open 6pm, and tickets via oztix.com.au.

Kaurna Cronin has a string of shows around the country to support his new single ‘If The First Time Was The Last Time’. He is a multi award winning singer-songwriter, and will be performing with his trio at The Settlers Tavern. It’s a combination of folk music with a modern approach. That’s Friday night, doors open from 9pm, with free entry.

 

Saturday 11th September

Martin Lee Cropper is performing live from 1pm at The Caves House Hotel, with his delta blues, 1920’s style music.

The Get down Club are taking over The River Saturday night, bringing heaps of house music, doors open from 7pm, tickets via oztix.com.au.

If you’re in need of a dance fix, get yourself to The Settlers for a night of grooving dance tunes with DJ Erik, doors open 9pm, and it’s free entry.

 

Sunday 12th September

The River presents Publicans and Sinners, which is AKA, Mike Goodwin and Kev McDonald, they will play a mix of originals and some great classics. Doors open from 3pm, with no cover charge.

The Margaret River Tapas & Bar has a line up of music for the rest of September and this Sunday Short & Curly will play live from 4pm.

Wind down from the weekend with The Brewhouse Sunday session with musician Matt Valensi, that’s from 4.30pm.

 

Tuesday 14th September

Jam night is on again at Caves House Hotel, so muster up your courage and hit the stage from 6.30pm.

 

Wednesday 15th September

Mike and Grant host the quiz night at the Pourhouse Dunsborough. It’s free to play with great prizes. Book a table, questions start from 7.30pm.
