Christmas is just around the corner, kids are nearly on school holiday, tis the season to be jolly!

 

Thursday 9th December

Sean and Cassandra are performing at Caves House Hotel from 6pm in the piano room.

The River is hosting Thank a Volunteer Day which is the Augusta Margaret River Shire’s initiative and supported by The Heart and WA’s Department of Communities. Kicks off from 6pm with live entertainment from Kiera Jas.

It’s quiz night at Burger Baby with Mike and Grant. It’s heaps of fun, free to play and great prizes. Please note the questions start at 7pm sharp, you’ll need to book a table so you don’t miss out. They are presenting great special meals each week too.

 

Friday 10th December

The Caves House Hotel has two live sessions Friday night starting with Short and Curly from 5.30pm-8.30pm, then the piano room hosts a cocktail jazz night with Paula Renee from 7pm.

Well known local Dan White will perform his acoustic style music live on the deck at The Brewhouse, starting from 4.30pm this is a family friendly venue.

Kallidad combine Spanish guitar styles with rock and heavy metal roots to create a unique style. They are performing live at The River Friday night, doors open from 7pm. Book your tickets via oztix.com.au.

Dingo Sungod have a healthy line up of gigs this summer, mostly in the South West. Consisting of 5 guys, they have a funky synergy that blends genres from rapping reggae and falsetto melodies with an eclectic thumping percussion sound. Live at the Settlers Tavern, doors open from 9.30pm and there’s no cover charge.

 

Saturday 11th December

Tim Moore kicks off the first live session at Caves House Hotel, that’s from 1pm with Nathan Parson following up the live music from 5.30pm.

Duo Hollow Coves have amassed over 300 million steams on Spotify and their breakout hit “Coastline” earned them a gold single in Australia. They are touring again and are playing at The River, doors open from 7pm and tickets via
oztix.com.au.

There will be lots of energy at The Settlers Tavern Saturday night with local DJ Kiyoshi, who is now based in Perth. He brings heavy drum & bass and adds them to your favourite pop singalongs. There’s no cover charge and doors open from 9pm.

 

Sunday 12th December

There is live music all afternoon at Caves House Hotel, local Bethwyn Marie opens from 1pm then Matt Valensi keeps the vibes going from 5.30pm.

Clancy’s Fish Pub Dunsborough has an early Christmas present with Abbe May, and her full band playing the session from 3pm. She is WA’s blues rockin queen of good times and is known for blowing the roof off. This is a free event.

The Settlers Sunday session kicks off from 3pm with live entertainment from Fremantle based musician Noah Young. He plays blues, roots, reggae and folk tunes, taken from the bustling city streets, he brings his music to rural towns.

Matt Cal is an award winning singer songwriter, and has a new single out called ‘Plenty Of Warning Global Warming”. He’s currently touring from Perth to Albany and is playing live for The River session from 4pm. With local special guest Lindsay Baker, it’s a family friendly event with no cover charge.

Al Mac is just a man and his guitar and his set list of songs has been carefully refined from countless decades sitting around campfires. He is live at The Brewhouse Sunday session from 4.30pm. This is a family friendly event.

 

Monday 13th December

Caves House has Monday night entertainment from 5.30pm with local Pete Matthews.

 

Tuesday 14th December

Jam night is on again at Caves House Hotel, so muster up your courage and hit the stage from 6.30pm.

 

Wednesday 15th December

The twilight markets happen every week at Caves House Hotel, and Katie J White playing live from 5.30pm, on the 15th.

Mike and Grant host the quiz night at the Pourhouse Dunsborough. It’s free to play with great prizes. Book a table, questions start from 7.30pm.
