WAM WA Music Week

Thursday 25th March

Caves House Hotel has live music from 6pm with Sean & Cassandra, which is a regular session.

It’s quiz night at Burger Baby with Mike and Grant. It’s heaps of fun, free to play and great prizes. Questions start 7.30pm sharp, book a table so you don’t miss out.

 

Friday 26th March

Short and Curly have just completed a 13 gig tour of the Goldfields and they have headed south to perform at Caves House Hotel from 5.30pm Friday. The duo play country, blues, folk and reggae.

The Dunsborough Tavern has introduced live music on a Friday night from 7pm and this week Shmone provides the entertainment. No cover charge.

Solo artist Ornella will help you wind down after the week, live at The Brewhouse session from 4.30pm.

Marc Griffiths will liven up your dinner booking Friday night at The Arc of Iris from 6.30pm.

You and I are regarded as one of Australia’s all time rock n’ roll bands, three of their releases have debuted at number one on the ARIA charts and they are performing in Margs at The River Friday night. Doors open from 7pm and tickets via oztix.com

The Heart has its first HomeGrown weekend with a fantastic night of Persian Jazz with Kohesia and local act Red Dress. The ensemble includes a line up of Australian and Iranian musicians, tickets are available via www.margaretriverheart.com.au or you can enter our competition with Dan White on our RMR Facebook page and win 2 tickets. Doors open from 6.30pm with local music in the foyer.

Chris Archee will be pumping out the hip hopping vibes at The Settlers Tavern from 9pm with free entry.

 

Saturday 27th March

There is a double session at Caves House Hotel with local Pete Matthews performing from 1pm, and Spiff and Fifi live from 5.30pm.

Head to the Heart for a morning of free music workshops from 9.30am as part of Homegrown@Heart, and you don’t need to be a musician to participate. Then in the evening a World Music inaugural concert with a fabulous line up of local talent with 7 different performances. There is also local entertainment provided in the foyer prior to the show, doors open from 6.30pm and tickets via ww.margaretriver.com.au.

Locals Graeme and Roger will play all your favourites for the dining session at The Arc of Iris from 6.30pm.

The Jeff Martin Set in Stone show was postponed and is now rescheduled for Saturday night at The River. If you had tickets to the previous show they are still valid, it’s bound to be a big night of rock, and you can still purchase tickets via oztix.com. Doors open from 7pm.

The Settlers Tavern has participated in Earth Hour for over a decade and will “SwitchforNature this Saturday from 8.30pm. Then there is live music from Hippo Crush who provide an array of original alternate rock and covers to keep you entertained. Free entry all night.

 

Sunday 28th March

Expect earthy roots, funk and blues from Julius Lutero at the Cave House Sunday session from 1pm. He’s been described as a cross between Jack Johnson and Jimi Hendrix. Then solo artist Bethwyn Marie will continue the live music from 5.30pm.

It’s a reggae rastas session at Clancy’s Fish Pub Dunsborough, with Zarm providing the grooves. Bring your skanking shoes, fun starts from 4pm.

The Dunsborough Tavern has a live music session from 5pm with Vic and Pearl.

Please check The River’s Facebook page for the live music this Sunday from 4pm in the back beer garden. Drink and food specials available.

T.J. O’Donovan is a Perth based folk and blues soloist and will be entertaining for the first time at The Settlers Sunday session form 4pm, with free entry.

The Brewhouse has a family friendly Sunday session from 4.30pm with Scott Basham performing live on the verandah.

 

Monday 29th March

Live music with Sego Leroux at Caves House Hotel from 6pm.

 

Tuesday 30th March

Jam Night is on at Caves House Hotel, come and share your talents on stage from 7pm.

 

Wednesday 31st March

The twilight markets at Caves House start from 5.30pm and the enchanting Katie J White will be performing live.

Mike and Grant host the quiz night at the Pourhouse Dunsborough. It’s free to play with great prizes. Book a table, questions start from 7.30pm.
