The Guitar Festival may be over however the live entertainment continues with beautiful blue skies forecast this weekend.

 

Thursday 14th October

Sean and Cassandra are performing at Caves House Hotel from 6pm in the piano room.

The River is hosting another Pechakucha event, volume 37. What is that all about? It’s 20 images displayed for 20 seconds and you talk along with the images. It’s kind of a live online social network night and includes presenters, Fiona Horne, Martine Perret and more. Kicks off from 6.30pm but you’re invited to come down before and enjoy some drinks and food by Brad and team. Free entry.

It’s quiz night at Burger Baby with Mike and Grant. It’s heaps of fun, free to play and great prizes. Please note the questions start at 7pm sharp, you’ll need to book a
table so you don’t miss out.

 

Friday 15th October

Bridgetown duo Short & Curly are live at Caves House Hotel from 5.30pm

The entertaining Abbe May is performing solo at Clancy’s Fish Pub Dunsborough, Friday night from 7.30pm. From Bunbury, Abbe plays iconic Aussie blues, rock and electronica, and has released 6 albums over her 17 year career. I suggest you check out her Facebook page for a very entertaining account of her photo shoot at Optus Stadium for the AFL grand final. Elli Schoen is the support act and it’s free entry.

The Brewhouse session starts from 4.30pm and Kev and Mel are playing live, this is a family friendly venue.

 

Saturday 16th October

The music begins from 1pm at Caves House Hotel with Matt Valensi, then from 5.30pm, Busselton muso Steve Spouse continues the live entertainment.

Who doesn’t love Death by Denim? They are in fact a Perth indie four-piece band and have just released a new single called ‘Cause A Scene’. They are determined to get you on the dance floor. Playing live at The River, from 8pm, tickets via oztix.com.

Hippo Crush are performing live at The Settlers for a night of unique alternative rock, plus a heap of covers that will have everyone rocking out in no time. Doors open from 9pm, and it’s a free gig.

 

Sunday 17th October

The Caves House Hotel Sunday session kicks off from 5.30pm with live music from Desert Rose.

Local Duncan Saige is performing with his full band, and has a new single ‘Start All Over’. His live music showcases soaring falsetto’s, catchy melodies, and he’s supported by Clay Western. This is a free gig at Clancy’s Fish Pub Dunsborough and the session starts from 4.30pm.

If you’re looking for a session of folk, blues and original storytelling, get along to The River from 4pm and join Tanya Ransom and Will Thomas, who are long time friends and musical collaborators. Suitable for the family, there’s no cover charge.

Albert Gray is the live musician at The Brewhouse Sunday session starting from 4.30pm. He’s from Broome, and is currently south performing various gigs. He was part of the Strings Attached Guitar Festival.

 

Tuesday 19th October

Jam night is on again at Caves House Hotel, so muster up your courage and hit the stage from 6.30pm.

 

Wednesday 20th October

The twilight markets happen every week at Caves House Hotel, look out for a local lineup of music from 5.30pm.

Mike and Grant host the quiz night at the Pourhouse Dunsborough. It’s free to play with great prizes. Book a table, questions start from 7.30pm.
