FREE WIFI

Effective immediately, the library wifi is freely available and not restricted by age.

If you feel you need to support or supervise your young person with their internet access on library computers – please do!

EASTER HOURS

The teams at Margaret River and Augusta libraries would like to wish you all a happy Easter.

Just so you know, both libraries will be closed for Easter from Friday 2nd to Monday 5th April.

That’s Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday.

They’ll open again at 10am on Tuesday 6th April. Please use the after-hours chute for your returns while the libraries are closed.

Artist in Residence Opportunity

The Farm Margaret River in Burnside has a funded artist residency opportunity . It’s currently open for applications from WA artists.

The Farm will host the artist on the property in a self-sustained studio, and will arrange, book and pay for travel expenses to the property from the artists’ place of residence if required.

Easter Fair

The Cowaramup Easter Fair is on again! Saturday April 3rd 9 – 1pm.

This fair is SO good – lots of local arty folk plus plenty of room for picnics and kids to run around. There’s a bouncy castle and a sausage sizzle! Come along to Pioneer Park – the one with the rump on a stump and the sweet little weatherboard church. You can park on the street, or maybe the community club carpark – if you’re up for a cleansing ale after your shopping.

Woven

Woven is a collective of women meeting regularly at the local community club.

Woven keeps women and community connected through sharing knowledge and creative skills.

Last week, a group of us tried out life drawing in charcoal for the first time.

There was wine and a lot of laughing.

A Woven membership is affordable and gives you membership to the community club too.
