Amnesty International Margaret River
For more than 15 years award-winning journalist Sophie McNeill has reported on some of the most war-ravaged and oppressive places on earth, including Syria and Gaza. To launch her new book and talk to us, Amnesty Margaret River have invited her to the Community Centre on Sunday 29th August at 6pm. All are welcome and soup is provided.

Community Home Care in Augusta
Community Home Care services are increasing in Augusta. Already there is assistance with transport for the elderly, to get to social events or medical care. Next there are meal deliveries, respite care and home help with cleaning and repairs.

For Nature Landholder Stewardship
Are you interested in revegetating your bush block, rural property or suburban garden?
“For Nature” are holding a free in-depth workshop and masterclass on Sunday September 5th from 10am – 1pm, run by Drew Mackenzie. He’ll analyse everything from identifying your objectives, to planting density and structure.
Then Dr Ann Ward will show you first-hand how she put these principles and techniques into practice. Numbers limited to 25, to enrol go the Nature Conservation website.

You’re invited to free community information sessions on the benefits of listing your services and groups on the Augusta Margaret River Community Directory & Diary. The sessions will be on Tuesday 31st August, the first from 10 at the Augusta Council Chambers, with morning tea provided.
A repeat session on the same day, is from 2 pm at Margaret River Council Chambers, with afternoon tea.
