Art Auction

The 15th Annual Margaret River Art Auction is on October 17 at 6pm at The Heart (next to the recreation centre).

The $25 tickets include finger food and a glass of Margaret River wine and are available through Eventbrite.

All funds raised go to the Margaret River Independent School.

Possum Stalking

Join Nature Conservation Margaret River for its Community Possum Nightstalk on Friday 16 October. It’s a family-friendly guided walk around the urban areas of Margaret River, learning about how the Western Ringtail Possum uses our urban green spaces.

Meet at the Shire depot on the corner of Samworth Street and Railway Terrace at 6.45pm. Places are limited so register as soon as possible.

Register through Nature Conservation Margaret River – look for “Citizen Science in the Margaret River Region”.

Become a Lion

If you’re looking for a way to support your community in these tricky times why not join the local Lions?

Volunteers help with the famous shed sale – with the added bonus of morning tea and a 15 minute shopping window without the Saturday crowds.

If you’re keen just drop into the Lions shed on Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning or contact Brian on 0417343577.
