Here is a chance for all buskers in the Augusta Margaret River Shire to perform in the Festival Precinct on Fridays during summer.

You’ll be on a stage with professional sound engineering, in a prominent place in the heart of town. This is made possible by RMR and the Shire Council.

To be included in the schedule you’ll need to email us at buskers@radiomargaretriver.com with your:

  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Email
  • Requested Date
  • Evidence of performance capability

Evidence of your performance capability can be in the form of an attached MP3 file, or a link.

All decisions as to suitability for performing will be made by RMR.

Whilst there is no payment for this performance, you can put your collection hat/case at the front of the stage. You may also sell your CDs.

Performances are from 12noon to 1pm.

You must arrive no later than 11:30am to the precinct, located next to Egberts off the main street.

The calendar of booked acts is here.

An act that has already performed may request a second opportunity and subject to availability and past performance, will be considered.

The stage is relatively small, best suited to 2-3 performers. We will provide microphones, DIs and foldback.

If you bring an amp it must be small and volumes kept at a minimum as you will be properly mixed from front of house.

You are required to follow the direction of the engineer provided by Active Audio PA Hire at all times.

Once approved you will be advised by email and/or phone. If you cannot make your show, you must advise us at least 24 hours before so we can follow up with a replacement performer.

We want to hear you on air!
